2016 - The Foundation

Trufire was founded in 2016 by Nickolaus Trainor. The company was founded after Nick decideded that he was going to chase a career in media prodcution and game development. Trufire started off small in 2016 with no web base and not even a presence online, it was a personal project alongside his youtube channel. Nick had aspriations for the future with cursed gaming, even trying to recruit a few friends to help out grow the company. Although after finding how to make a youtube channel for the second time Nick decided to move primarily to media production in the form of short Youtube videos, none of which can be found today. After deciding to see if anyone had the same name as his channel, NIck promptly searched for "Cursed Gaming" in the youtube searchbox. After finding about 200+ results for the name Nick lost hope for the channel as the name was un-original and generic.

2017 - A New Name

as the year 2017 rolled around the orginisatyion, We had found some new people to hang with. They asked about what he did for hobbies, he mentioned his past failed youtube channel Cursed Gaming. After taking an intrest in Trufire Liam and James, two of Nick's newest friends wanted to help out. The trio decided Cursed Gaming was to generic and after some months of trying to make the name original with intros and music, they ended up scraping the idea altogether in favor for Trufire Deveolopment Studios. A Game development company founed on the basis of free inde games.Trufire Development Studios would stick around for a few years after that. After the company was rebranded the group wanted to start youtubing after Nick had told them all about his personal youtube channel, Hellbounddeadman. Liam and James wanted to also do YouTube videos, Nick showed them how to do so and the two, Liam and James would hold off on making videos until mid to late 2019.The name Trufire Development Studios would stick for quite a while despite the three knowing that the company would most likely become a media company.

2018 - The Media

After some careful consideration of the full name, Trufire Development Studios. Liam, James and Nick all decidede to change it to Trufire Gaming for a short while before changing it to Trufire Media after realising that they wanted to do more than just gaming videos on a Combined Youtube Channel. So after a few months of nothing happening with Trufire Gaming, They decided to split the company in two and have a games side and a media side. One to develop games and the other to make media. They setteled on re-using Trufire Development Studios and making it the Primary name with Trufire Media only a secondary.Trufire Development Studios stuck around for a bit until the trio decided it was too wordy and shortened it to Trufire Studios. Along with a new better looking Logo to go with it.

2019 - The Pandemic

2019 was a hard year for many companies and groups, large and small. The foundation team at Trufire was forced to take a break from the company and place quite a lot of it on hold for quite some time. The trio tried to keep going until 2020 when the pandemic really started to make the news and cause major issues worldwide.
Trufire attempted footing a clothing brand, OffenceCity Apparel, aswell as hosting a startup comics group called Kritix Comics.

2020 - The Break

During the mid to late 2020 Trufire and the foundation team decided to can the project for the foreseeable future as it was not turning out the way they could have hoped for. While alot of old systems are still accessable, a majority of them have been inactive since 2019 and were never planned to be switched back on. This included projects such as the Flamecast, Project fire and "life" happens.

2023 - Rebooting

After 2023, Founder Nickolaus, decided to attempt to restart the company, including its original goal of creating smaller projects and simply having an overlook. Currently the largest project, started in 2022 is How Good Designs, a small development child entity of Trufire that focuses on creating gaming assets for the Grand Theft Auto game series.
Trufire has been rebooting alongside this new project to assist with oversight and to provide a framework for future projects.
